From Knowledge to Skill: Rethinking the Teaching Process


Çorum Ölçme Değerlendirme Merkezi hosted the 10 February session of the Çorum Measurement and Evaluation Academy, where our department faculty member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yeliz Bolat participated as a guest speaker.

In her seminar titled “From Knowledge to Skill: Rethinking the Teaching Process,” Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yeliz Bolat addressed the reconsideration of learning outcomes within the framework of the Türkiye Yüzyılı Maarif Modeli, emphasizing a skill-based approach. She shared insights on the evolving role of the teacher in the instructional process and provided concrete examples of classroom practices. During the seminar, she highlighted the importance of moving beyond knowledge transmission toward an instructional approach that centers on students’ thinking, analytical, and application skills.

The program was completed interactively with participants’ questions and contributions.
